Nothing says “way to handle the supply chain, Joe” than the government telling people not to buy more groceries than they need right now. This instant. That’s the message from the DC Office for Homeland Security. “Only Take What You Need.”
What does that even mean?
It means we’re screwed, and they don’t want everyone who hasn’t realized this will freak out.
But I can see the FUBAR from here, Uncle Joe. I feel it in my bones. The next time I get to the store, assuming it is open and has food, I may not be able to afford it when my part of the line reaches the door. I have to buy it now, comrade!
In other words, I’m taking what I’ll need for many days (weeks?) because you took a 27 trillion dollar annual economy and used stupid useless vaccine tricks to jam up the brakes.
And while we were struggling to deal with that, you banned unvaxxed truckers crossing back and forth from Canada, our number two trade partner. WHILE not just allowing hundreds of thousands of unvaxxed “refugee migrants” across the southern border but flying them at no charge and dropping them off in communities all over the country.
This, like most of your COVID-era policies (sorry, all Democrat policies), will ultimately harm more people than help, including your blessed vaccinated (beyond the risk posed by The Jab™ itself).
Minorities, single moms, blue-collar kitchen-table types will all suffer because of your policy decisions. And the DC Homeland message is no different than saying that this will get worse, and as with all government screw-ups, we’ll have to pay the price.
Not you, us.
I wonder if Old Mother Nancy Pelosi has recently stocked her pricey fridges and if we’ll be hearing anything more from her about crumbs.
