You know the story, and you know the moral, I suspect as well. “A liar will not be believed, even when he speaks the truth.”
When it comes to politics and the legacy media, folks like to talk about the Big lie, which is itself a big lie. The idea is to attribute the big lie to your opponents by which you are yourself exercising the practice.
American Democrats and media are experts at this and their breathless insurrection anniversary coverage demonstrates their commitment to it.
It’s all they have talked about all day. The insurrection. But it’s been twelve months, and no one has been charged with anything remotely like that.
If anything Jan 6th was evidence that Democrats will jail American Citizens indefinitely without charging them. No bail, no trial. Things that, ironically, are themselves akin to acts of insurrection against the Constitution which is the foundation of the Republic.
Undermined.
Democrats could care less and not one of them I listened to is discussing this.
Talk about injustice, no – let’s not do that. But we might have some time to smear the unvaccinated.
Gov. Ron DeSantis was more than happy to talk about the Dems Insurrection obsession in the correct context making important points when so many other Republicans failed or went the other way.
A rowdy group, to be sure, and most of them should have known better, but no one was armed. And aside from minor property damage, that so-called “insurrection” can’t even rise to the level of the Democrat’s average “peaceful protest™.”
I’m almost embarrassed by how over the top this all appears. Democrat Ann Kuster’s panic porn barely scratches the surface of the lipstick they’ve put on this pig. It’s that all day in every way.
It’s too much but is it too much?
Will ordinary folks struggling to remain apolitical continue to feast on the crap sandwich they are being served? Will the Big Lie win, or will it be the political party that tried wolf?
They appear to have gotten away with endless false Trump scandals and two impeachments. Lies that have embedded themselves into the minds of many, so what not this too?
