Quote of the Day – “When we complained about schools, they said ‘why don’t you get involved?’ … “

Sometimes when you are close to the topic or subject the obvious walks past you in a bright red dress and you fail to notice. Or maybe you do but you are distracted. I just read a comment and felt like that.

Why didn’t I think of that?

Maybe I did and forgot, but I feel certain I have been reporting on parents at school boards all year and walked right past this without even noticing.

The comment comes to us from here, a video rebuttal to those who object to the over-sexualization of public school education. Quite the piece of work in and of itself.

The Left isn’t teaching your kids that they are racists, descended from racists with privilege. They are slutty, racists descended from racists, and that part is just fine. You prudes and bigots should shut the hell up and mind your business. We’re the experts!

Stop getting in our way.

In response, someone commented that,

When we complained about schools, they said “why don’t you get involved?” Then we got involved, and they’re telling us to shut up!

That’s a home run right there.

And, as with all things from the Left, the only thing that matters is your politics. Being a person of color or somewhere on the gender spectrum, or any other approved identity politics designation, but not aligned with the Left’s politics, you are dead to them.

Sometimes, literally.

The reality is that they want you involved if you talk or vote or loot the way they want but if you ask the wrong questions or arrive at the wrong answers, they will silence or cancel you.

The correct response to this is to speak louder, and more often.
