Every time that the Democrats “open” our Southern Border, no matter who the current Democrat Administration, they ship them from “there” to “somewhere else” and it always seems to be in the Red States.
Hardly ever are they being shipped to deep Blue States (or even deep Blue Districts like Nancy Pelosi’s or Seattle). Instead, these “undocumented citizens” are flown for free without any COVID tests or Jabs, or bussed long distances, to small cities and towns that are the Democrats’ opposition.
So now we have the “DeSantis Turnabout is Fair Play” play – yep, Biden and Obama’s backyards (reformatted, emphasis mine):
DeSantis Proposes $8 Million in Budget to Relocate Illegal Immigrants to Delaware, Martha’s Vineyard
Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis set $8 million in his 2022–23 budget to transport illegal immigrants out of The Sunshine State. He proposed the spending in the Freedom First Budget (pdf) to protect against harms resulting from illegal immigration. The spending may include the transportation of unauthorized aliens located within Florida to other states or the District of Columbia.
“In yesterday’s budget, I put in $8 million for us to be able to transport people illegally [in the United States] out of the state of Florida,” he said during a press conference on Friday.
The Republican governor listed Delaware, President Joe Biden’s hometown state, and Martha’s Vineyard, where former President Barack Obama owns a mansion, as potential destinations to relocate the illegal immigrants.
“If you sent [illegal immigrants] to Delaware or Martha’s Vineyard or some of these places, that border would be secure the next day,” he said.
The White House and The Obama Foundation didn’t respond immediately to requests for comments from The Epoch Times.
First, you gotta love that he named his proposed budget “Freedom First” – certainly catching a lot of folks’ eyeballs as they consider that the present Oval Office shell (shill?) residing in the White House is anything but “Freedom First” for citizens. NON-citizens, for sure, but not citizens – just ask the Federal Government Ambassadors to NH, Jeanne Shaheen and Maggie “The Red” Hassan. You now, those who pay for all this insult after injury.
Oh, I’m quite sure that the States of Delaware and Massachusetts are going to have the screaming meemies over this action – too bad. It’s oft been said that until the enclaves of the rich end up having their “fair share” of the burden of homeless, often illiterate and unskilled illegals, this nonsense will never stop. Yup, these same snobs are the first to say “turning them away – that’s not who we are!”. That is, until they show up knocking on THEIR doors after getting past their security gate for their walled-off homes.
The standard retort from us on the Right (and rightfully so) should remain “and how many illegals have YOU invited into your home before you callously invite them into MINE?”. Of course, they mutter after that “face” appears on their visage that tells you that you’ve hit the mark and insulted their sense of self-righteousness and smuggery.
I really do hope that DeSantis follows through with this. I wish, too, that the other Red States along the border do the same thing. And the same thing with refugees as well.
After all, isn’t “Fair Share” for everyone? The Left keeps yammering about that for taxes for the rich – let’s just add illegals and refugees to those Democrat Big Whigs.
After all, there are plenty of bedrooms in the White House, right?
