Tennessee Governor Bill Lee signed into law a sweeping ban on COVID mandates and passports:

Gov. Bill Lee signed the state’s COVID-19 omnibus bill Friday, ensuring government entities cannot force private businesses to institute COVID-19 mandates and private businesses cannot take action against unvaccinated employees nor compel an employee or visitor to show proof of vaccination.

The law provides:

14-2-102. COVID-19 vaccine status.

(a) A private business, governmental entity, school, or local education agency shall not compel or otherwise take an adverse action against a person to compel the person to provide proof of vaccination if the person objects to receiving a COVID-19 vaccine for any reason.

Meanwhile in New Hampshire, Sun-King Sununu and his lackeys continue to maintian that COVID mandates and passports are bad things when generated by the federal government, but good things when the source is private businesses.

There was a blue wave in 2021 in New Hampshire in the municipal elections. Funny how people losing their jobs and under the threat of losing their jobs if they don’t inject a medically unnecessary experimental drug don’t really give a damn about whether New Hampshire has the country’s lowest business tax rates.
