In-N-Out Burger: “We refuse to become the vaccination police for any government”

Even if you saw this it deserves a few moments of our attention or a quick review. An In-N-Out Burger in San Francisco found itself under the COVID jackboot a few weeks back for refusing to be the City’s Vaccine SS Terror troops.

They posted the city requirements on the door and then went about their exceptional business.

The New Normal™ is intolerant of exceptions and they have lots of boots on the ground.

Someone, we’ll call them little bitches for lack of a better term, ratted out the joint. You can almost hear the whining from here, weeks later, across the 2666 miles that separate us. Hmmm – 666.

The Stormtroopers from the Department of Public Health (and Inhuman Services?) came down and closed the location, demanding they enforce the city mandate to check customers’ vaccination “papers” before serving them.

The Christain-owned business only has one location in Nancy’s Shitty by the Bay, which has since re-opened for drive-thru service only, but the one is backed by many and their response was epic.

To borrow from the Guinness Guys it was Brilliant!

As a Company, In-N-Out Burger strongly believes in the highest form of customer service and to us that means serving all Customers who visit us and making all Customers feel welcome. We refuse to become the vaccination police for any government.

This is what diversity and equity and anti-discrimination mean before you let the Left play Twister with them. We serve everyone, we treat them well, and we hope that inspires them to come back. Oh, and F*** You!

We fiercely disagree with any government dictate that forces a private company to discriminate against customers who choose to patronize their business. This is clear governmental overreach and is intrusive, improper, and offensive.

It’s San Francisco so they don’t get what any of that means, but we do. Thank you, In-N-Out Burger. We stand with you.

The complete statement care of ABC7 Chicago.

On Thursday, October 14, the San Francisco Department of Public Health closed our restaurant at 333 Jefferson Street because In-N-Out Burger Associates (employees) were not preventing the entry of Customers who were not carrying proper vaccination documentation. Our store properly and clearly posted signage to communicate local vaccination requirements.

After closing our restaurant, local regulators informed us that our restaurant Associates must actively intervene by demanding proof of vaccination and photo identification from every Customer, then act as enforcement personnel by barring entry for any Customers without the proper documentation.

As a Company, In-N-Out Burger strongly believes in the highest form of customer service and to us that means serving all Customers who visit us and making all Customers feel welcome. We refuse to become the vaccination police for any government. It is unreasonable, invasive, and unsafe to force our restaurant Associates to segregate Customers into those who may be served and those who may not, whether based on the documentation they carry, or any other reason.

We fiercely disagree with any government dictate that forces a private company to discriminate against customers who choose to patronize their business. This is clear governmental overreach and is intrusive, improper, and offensive.
