Mitch McConnell and Kevin McCarthy Remind Voters Why Giving the GOP Control of Congress (While They Control the GOP) Would be Pointless

Even if we were not living in a post-constitutional world, Biden deserves to be impeached. He LIED to the American people about the situation in Afghanistan AND his botched withdrawal ABANDONED AMERICANS behind enemy lines and gifted approximately $90 BILLION of state-of-the-art military equipment to the Taliban.

AND in addition, he has OPENed the SOUTHERN BORDER to hordes of illegal aliens.

But we are living in a post-constitutional world where an impeachment is a political tool, so impeachment should be the proverbial “no-brainer.” Trump was twice impeached; first for not conducting the foreign policy the DC-swamp wanted and then for encouraging his supporters to exercise their First Amendment rights and protest an obviously rigged election.

What Biden has done … actual impeachable offenses: opening the Southern border, Afghanistan … is much, much, much worse.

In the post-constitutional world, we are living in, the GOP should be using impeachment to hammer the Democrats. While at the present time Nancy Pelosi can prevent articles-of-impeachment from seeing the light of day, the GOP “leadership” can still file articles of impeachment, and Congressman and Senators can use social media to make the case: show pictures of the mayhem of the Kabul airport over and over and over again  … repeat the names of every serviceman needlessly killed by Biden’s incompetence while defending the airport over and over and over again … as well as the names of the poor, innocent Afghani children murdered by Biden in a sham-retaliation for the attack on our troops.

I’m sure some talk-radio and cable news would give them a platform too.

And then follow through with an actual impeachment should the Senate and House switch to GOP control in 2022.

But, needless to say, that is NOT going to happen. Mitch tells us “now is not the time” because the Democrats control Congress:

“Well, look, the president is not going to be removed from office. There’s a Democratic House, a narrowly Democratic Senate. That’s not going to happen,” McConnell said at an event in Kentucky, asked if Biden’s handling of the drawdown in Afghanistan merits impeachment and if he would support it.

Mitch is never going to support impeaching his swamp-buddy, Joseph Biden. In 2022, he’ll tell us that the GOP majorities aren’t big enough, or that we have more pressing matters … and then cut more lousy deals, like the fake-infrastructure deal, with his swamp-buddy.

McCarthy, as Speaker of the House, could force Mitch’s hand, but Frank Luntz’s figurehead won’t:

House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy (R-Calif.) has also stopped short of embracing impeachment calls while predicting that a GOP-controlled House would probe Biden’s Afghanistan exit and that there would be a “day of reckoning.”  

Remember how the Benghazi hearings were a “day of reckoning”? Or the periodic hearings of Big Tech were “day[s] of reckoning”? I don’t either. More sham-hearings intended to placate the base that accomplishes NOTHING.

The truth is Mitch, Kevin and the Republicans that support them won’t impeach Biden because they are feckless, inept, and corrupt. The 2022 elections, if you are America-First, should be about replacing Mitch and Kevin with leaders who actually believe in America-First and who, just as importantly, realize that the American Left are diehard communists and what that means and requires.
