Texas Dems Who Fled to DC File Lawsuit Blaming Republicans For Their Fleeing the State

If you recall, nearly 60 Texas unmasked Democrats fled the state in planet-killing chartered planes so they could avoid participating in Democracy. After arriving in DC, several came down with COVID, all of which appears to be the fault of Texas Republicans if you can stop laughing long enough to read their complaint.

To summarize, these Dems are suing three Republicans for forcing them to run away from their sworn duty as elected members of the Texas House of Representatives.

The lawsuit alleges that Mr. Abbott, House Speaker Dade Phelan and state Rep. James White conspired to deprive the Democrats of their rights based on “Race, in that certain plaintiffs are either black or white,” and “Creed, in that certain Plaintiffs have expressed a faith or belief that every eligible citizen has the right to vote.”

The lawsuit offered no evidence to back up the “scheme and conspiracy” claims based on factors such as “natural origin,” an apparent reference to “national origin.”

Believing in the right to vote is now a religion? I suppose it must be given that to Democrats Government is god, and as its Pharisees, their sacred interpretation of its (and their) powers is based on the false faith that they actually have a clue what other people need or want or that the Constitution allows this.

To make matters more interesting, their legal counsel is “attorney Craig Anthony Washington, a former Democratic congressman who received an active suspension in 2017 and partially probated suspensions in 2015 and 2019, the second of which ends in June 2024, according to the State Bar of Texas website.”

Disgraced lawyer represents disgraced legislators blaming people who told them not to leave for their leaving.

Observers note that the whole thing is garbage with no evidence to support it or basis in fact or the law.

Talk about a near-perfect description of the Democrat party.
