Let’s review how we got here. Trump had an exit plan, backed up by dire and completely believable threats. Joe’s puppet masters could not stick to that plan because, well, Orange Man Bad! If Trump did it, they HAD to undo it, even if the policy made sense or worked.

They extended the withdrawal date to September 11th so that Joe could be injected with a special mixture of adrenaline and methamphetamine, propped up in front of the cameras, and count coup on Trump. Optics, in other words. It’s always about “the narrative.”
Mark Miley, Channeling McNamara, told us, “a Taliban takeover is not a forgone conclusion.” Shades of “all is not lost”?
On August 8th, Zombie Joe told us there would be no Taliban takeover, period.
And then reality reared its ugly head. In the two days since I wrote Part 1, the Taliban have swept into Kabul with zero resistance. The Afghani Army has ceased to exist, all its weapons now in the hands of religious extremists, who are at this moment chanting “Death to America.” CNN says, in the crowd’s defense, “they seem friendly.” Mostly peaceful, in fact.
The Afghani Air Force has apparently defected en mass, as Russian HIND attack choppers have been seen flying.
The Taliban have AirPower. Isn’t that special?
Zombie Joe told us we wouldn’t see choppers rescuing folks from embassy roofs. Wrong again, Joe!
Americans are trapped at the Embassy, with choppers rolling in and out. Last night, before flight operations had to stop, they sent off one Air Force C-17 with EIGHT HUNDRED PEOPLE on it!
Flight operations at Kabul airport had to be stopped because thousands of desperate Afghani’s flooded the runways, surrounding the Air Force transports, clinging to the landing gears. Three people fell to their deaths from hundreds of feet up on video.
Americans not at the Embassy were told to “shelter in place.” A nice way to say, “we have no clue what to do next.” Those folks aren’t much better off than those at the Embassy, as both the Embassy and the airport are surrounded.
How’s that for optics?
Those Americans, and the Afghani’s that supported us, are only alive now on the sufferance of the Taliban. This could get very bad, very quickly.
The worst part is that the Chinese see this, see our weakness. They have already issued new threats against Taiwan, as they now know that the US under a Biden Administration is an impotent, toothless adversary.
Bill, the Debater, was in this morning, visibly angry. “How about Kabul”? I asked. “I don’t wanna talk to you. You never agree with me,” Democrats, in a nutshell, Nicht Wahr?
He was upfront, ranting about executing the January 6th “traitors.” A nice little old lady told him to shut his pie-hole. I love the North Country!
Biden does not make it to Labor Day; that’s my prediction.
