I got the date wrong, but it looks like we were right about the rest of it. Obama’s promise to downsize his massive 60th birthday superspreader event was “change” in which we could not (should not!) believe.
To recap, someone leaked news that Barry and Michelle-o had a big to-do planned at their soon-to-be underwater seaside estate on Martha’s vineyard. With an estimated 200 servants and 700 guests, the obvious angle was, um, excuse me, COVID?
The Saturday sprawl was presaged by the erection of massive outdoor “facilities.” A huge tent with large attendant tents for the staff, food, servers, whatever popped up between the home and the not as yet to be seen encroaching waterline.

Gateway Pundit is reporting that several A-listers were spotted on the island Friday. So I guess I was right about that.
Democrats are known to have problems with the inconvenient definitions of words, and I have a sneaky suspicion that the party will not be as small as they are suggesting.
The tent looks bigger than the house, but it does remind me of a mask which I’m sure no one wore. Nor, do I suspect, was there the tiniest bit of concern (or conversation) about the carbon footprint the event created. Not just the event itself but from “close friends and family” flying or boating in to at great risk to the venue itself from catastrophic Obama-Party made sea level rise.

One more point. The only reason we’re talking about this is the fact that the Left would be losing their mind if Trump or anyone on the right did this, and as far as we can tell, they’ve got nothing to say about it.
Yet another reminder that there are two classes in their world, and each has a different set of rules, both set by them. Except for Maybe Nancy Pelosi. She was “invited” and then disinvited. She says she had other obligations – on Martha’s Vinyard.
