Public Health Tyranny was the first real concern we had when the political response ramped up around the Woo-Han-Floo. It became an excuse for emergency orders, random abuses of power, the flu d’ état. A new toy with which tyrants would be loath to part.

A means to advance political or legislative goals absent the meddling or legislature of people. And so it is.
“We are publicly acknowledging the existence of a grave inequity many in our community have long experienced, and are committing ourselves to creating policies and ordinances that are anti-racist,” Mendenhall, a Democrat, wrote in a tweet announcing the resolution.
The motivation for this is the CDC which not long ago got the ball rolling officially by stating that racism has “proven to have harmful impacts on the mental and physical health of communities of color.”

The Salt Lake City resolution went on to say that racism affects many aspects of a person’s life, from where people live to where they work and go to school, “which creates inequities in access to a range of social and economic benefits” like housing, education, wealth and employment.
Nowhere does it mention the systemic mismanagement of minorities by the sort of people (democrats) who run urban landscapes, folks who for decades have been giving orders and directions to the police departments that are supposedly racist.
These Democrats have had a half-a-century or more to use their lock on political power to correct so-called inequities in some of these cities, but we see the opposite.
Another resolution by the same bunch of losers isn’t going to change anything except, and this seems more likely, the odds of getting federal support to alleviate another “problem” they created; dollars that will never do more than fatten the coffers of those same leaders or their cronies. And that’s business as usual, but what do you want us to do about it?
Liberals have a hive mind. If Dems in Salt Lake are proposing resolutions declaring racism a public health emergency, the Demmorhoids running your cities and town can’t be far behind. In New Hampshire, we look at Concord, Portsmouth, Hanover, Plymouth, Exeter, Peterborough, Keene, and Nashua (for starters).
The best “reporters” in the state are the people who live “in town” who refuse to rely on the local media to tell them what they need to know. That’s you so keep watch and let us know when the rumbling begins.
