“Boston Pride” Tries to ‘Transition,’ Fails, – Commits Assisted Organizational Suicide

Even the most supportive LGBETC (LGB Etc.) communities have exponentially high rates of drug and alcohol abuse as well as suicidal ideation. No one takes pride in that, but it makes for a suitable metaphor.

After struggling with “discrimination” Boston Pride has decided to end itself.

“It is clear to us that our community needs and wants change without the involvement of Boston Pride,” a statement from the organization’s board of directors said. “We have heard the concerns of the QTBIPOC (Queer, Trans, Black, Indigenous People of Color) community and others. We care too much to stand in the way.”

“Trans”-lation?

Discrimmination is not theIt looks like there is a victim-class civil war underway.

I have no inside information to that effect; this is my opinion. But I’ve watched the culture for many years, and I’m familiar with how groups incorporate and (for lack of a better term) discorporate. I also get how the Left works.

The end of Boston Pride looks like assisted suicide. Assisted by the left’s victimology politics. The addition of systemic racism to the existing feminist/gender tensions stoked by the left and the media have undone at least one organization.

It can’t please anyone, so there’s no longer any point in trying. TTFN and good luck moving “forward!” You’ll need it.

Race Politics

We can pin the blame squarely on the Marxists replacing class warfare with race warfare. While the feminists were already upset about the Trans, as were many LGBers, announcing that any gay person not of color was a racist from birth is not exactly affirming for a movement that claims to be about acceptance in what is still a white majority nation.

The Dems identity politics totem pole is crowded, but this is something new. Everyone thought they belonged on top or were scrambling to get there. And why not? When the revolution comes, everyone else will be left in the lurch. Then you get demoted because the management changed the rules.

The result of that chaos is always accusations and arrogance. Tossing in the towel becomes the only viable path out.

The question I have is whether any of them have a clue how prophetic it is?

Democrats have no real interest in anyone or anything if they are not tools for advancing political power. Ask Republican Blacks, Latinos, Gays, Jews, teachers, immigrants, or Women if I’m right. They didn’t learn the lesson.

The Socialists labeled you as victims of oppression, not to defend you from it but to get you used to the idea.

The latest trick up their sleeves is the introduction of a race-shaming race war based on Critical Race Theory, in which being LGBETC has no prominence unless you are a person of color.

For those of you thinking they are done moving the target, think again.

There is no rainbow, and I suspect that this is what has led Boston Pride to realize it cannot continue to exist.

They thought they were advocating a world of change in the name of love and the end of oppression. In reality, they were lied to by Marxists, and they are just tools or props easily discarded when the messaging needs to change.

In other words, under that regime, everyone’s assisted suicide becomes likely if not imminent the moment they are deemed no longer useful.
