A funny thing happened on the way to the truth. Well, not all that funny. Maybe not funny at all. Predictable might be the word. The people who rigged the election are warning the states to audit the rigged election that they will, for lack of a better word, “audit them.”
“What you talkin’ about Willis?”
The Justice Department on Wednesday released guidance intended to caution states embarking on so-called post-election ‘audits’ of vote counts for the 2020 presidential election that they must not run afoul of federal voting laws.
The Department of Joe (DOJ) is warning the states that they will be watching for any tampering related to investigating the tampering that got Joe elected.
This is PR smoke and mirrors—fodder for the media muppets. When revelations reveal massive fraud, the foundation has been set by the fraudsters to counter the narrative.
The he-said-he-she-they-it said back and forth will (they hope) wash out any visible irregularities. Drown them out with noise.
Fingers in the ears, La La La La La…
Problem?
States have the constitutional right to run elections. Federal candidates are elected by the respective states. The office of the President is elected by a majority of electors chosen by individual states. While they’ve clawed away at that for more than a century, the Feds do not have any real oversight into how they are conducted or any investigation of activity, legal or otherwise.
Short of making sure legal voters get to vote, the Feds should not be able to do much after the fact.
I know. The Constitution is not always seen as the top dog, and you often have to ask one branch of the Federal government to restrain another. It is an unpredictable path, and there are no guarantees, but the Left is not concerned with that. This warning is little more than a call to action—a boost for the base to keep them in the game.
And, obviously, the groundwork for endless legal challenges to keep the results of audits from having any weight or value.
Much like the Russia-Trump collusion narrative. It was all lies, and they knew it, but they kept up appearances and narratives until it no longer mattered.
I expect nothing different here, but that does not mean we can’t uncover the truth or fix problems going forward. Grassroots activists need to be persistent, not just about finding the truth but also protecting the vote’s integrity going forward.
It makes little difference if we uncover fraud and never accomplish anything to prevent it.
