Sheesh – can you make it any more blatant? Should we be rebelling/boycotting such nonsense? Or be glad that they are THAT stupid in dropping their masks to 50% of their used-to-be potential consumers.
Here, let me help you out a bit on the actual BlogLine:
Nice. It used to be that Journalists used to do the old What, When, Where, Why, and How bit – reporting stuff straight up. Then we started to see opinions starting to creep into their reports under the guise of “context”. Then it became clear that they had chosen side in the political / culture war that now plagues our civil discourse (such civility as there is nowadays).
This, however, is just blatant propaganda. “Falsely” by WHOSE standards? Straight reporting would just say that more than half of Republicans believe it was due to illegal voting. This, however, is our “news reporters”, reporting on a numerical poll, telling half the nation’s voters that you were wrong. That you are stupid.
The same guys, I would imagine, that won’t say that Dementia Joe’s name is still just Joe with no modifier needed or warranted. Prime of Life, in fact! And it gets worse:
“Additionally, 60% of Republicans incorrectly agree that the election was stolen from Republican Donald Trump.”
Yeah, journalists as a class are just so smaht, ain’t they? Sure, they are welcome to their own opinion, but is it the business of journalism to shame others that aren’t “Democrats with bylines” or report “just the facts, ma’am”? Glen Reynolds then abstracts from Ann Althouse on something that we AND the Democrat side ought to be more openly discussing (ok, they won’t but we SHOULD be in making sport of them). Emphasis, reformatting mine:
CNN reports, aggressively inserting the view that the people who were polled are wrong. I believe that’s a very unusual way to report an opinion poll, with insistence that the opinion is wrong and apart from any factual reporting that that makes it perfectly obvious that the opinion is mistaken.
That was the setup – now for the kill shot:
This displays a desperate fear of the opinion, and I don’t think it does much good. The urge to stamp the opinion out will tend to make those who hold it grip more tightly: What are they afraid of? Are they trying to get me to move on, telling me there’s nothing to see here?
It is their way to belittle those that don’t agree with their ideology and their media “prowess” to just gaslight the rest of us. Our opinions DO matter and I believe that the Left IS having a desperate fear of our opinion. As if they know there has been a huge coverup in many ways and they are desperately praying to themselves (as the Left is becoming “less religions” – unless you want to count Moloch and themselves) to make it go away and just outlast the rest of us, waiting for us to give up.

What is perfectly clear, however, is that Republicans’ lack of faith in our current election infrastructure is a direct result of Trump’s historic efforts to undermine the legitimacy of the 2020 results.
It’s “perfectly clear” why people have this opinion? This is a news article, reporting a poll, and it’s making an absolute assertion about why human beings believe what they do. That doesn’t inspire confidence. It makes people suspicious, perhaps paranoid.
No, not suspicious – we’re well past that now. No, it’s not paranoid – it’s OUTRAGE. It is ANGER – and they know it and are trying to pull out all the stops in trying to defuse and deflect it. Makes us “move on” from 2020. And they can’t even figure out the WHY part either!
No, it isn’t “Trump’s historic efforts to undermine the legitimacy of the 2020 results” at all – it was four years of them protesting Trump’s election, to begin with (and Hillary is still not letting go of that in a bitter end knowing that time has finally passed her by (“WHAT? I got beaten by BIDEN??? That’s MY office, not his!!!”).
The point is that we’ve had no real answers to our questions, legitimate questions. And we see that things just don’t quite add up with Windham, NH being a prime example. Why aren’t we getting the “WHYs to our WHATs”?
Frankly, the only thing that journalists seem to be good for is to provide fodder for bloggers.
