When you steal something precious or special, you need to protect it. The people from whom you took it might want it back. Democrats stole America, which is why they are proposing a permanent military presence in the US Capitol. Saddam, Adolf, Mao, Hugo, and Stalin would be so proud.

Democrats not only created the justification for the militarization of the Capitol of a “free” nation (staging and inciting a riot – probably with a lot of inside help), they then blamed it on their political opponents.
To ensure their “safety” they will need a Quick Reaction Force.
The task force, headed up by Army Lt. Gen. (Ret.) Russel L. Honoré, reported back to Nancy Pelosi, suggesting that a “quick reaction force” be formed and put on standby in addition to Capitol police.
The report notes that DC is “a high-value target for foreign terrorists or domestic extremists, yet it has no dedicated QRF for response to crises.”
This QRF could be “under the command of the D.C. National Guard” by “mobilizing military police from Guard elements across the U.S. on rotations of three to six months” that “permanently reside within the D.C. Guard by reestablishing a military police battalion and staffing it with Active Guard Reserve troops.”
They list these as three possible options for the occupation. I’m going to go with a mix of all three at least until they figure out who among these individuals can be relied upon to protect Pelosi’s Reichstag and her Furer without question.
Because your “Public servants” are afraid of what you could do when they get serious about stripping you of your rights and liberties.
That’s it, nothing else.
Unless this is still a plot by the military to seize eventual control, imprison all the bad actors, and put Gen. Flynn in charge until we can have an untainted election?
There are still several varieties of that floating out there.
Having some familiarity with history, I’m going with no on that last bit and yes on the ruling class securing its forces and positions and power to protect its tyrannical rule from the increasingly disgruntled peasants.
I see at least one Yuge problem. The states have to agree, or it’s just Broke DC and a few broke Blue states who can’t afford to pay their Guardsman without indulgences from the Capitol and money from the states.
What if a majority of states say no and create their own loosely functioning capital in the midwest to manage shared interests? We already have the documents, currently held hostage in the District of Columbia. All they’d need to do is follow them.
I know, unlikely, at least yet, but the left is playing their cards, and we know where they stand – on the other side or a fence guarded by dogs and folks with “military-style weapons” spending our great-great-grandchildren’s money.
