“There’s nothing we can do to change the trajectory of the pandemic”

by

The new post-Trump era is upon us. Reality as we had known it for the last four years is facing reinvention. Let’s roll through some noteworthy events. Pfizer had hinted that a vaccine could be ready in late October. Then, mysteriously, it wasn’t… Then, stranger still, it appeared.

A few days after Election Day. Curious, no?

After Biden’s inauguration, Illinois, California, New York, and other blue states took action. They are easing (or talking about easing) some of their lockdown restrictions. Suddenly, there is a need to get their economies back on track. And why no need before that? There is little to no change in politi-virus rates.

During the Trump Age, the president was held responsible for every death from the virus. What about today?

Now, the media is reporting that career scientists and health administrators in the federal government are to blame for past slow testing. They are responsible for tardiness and laxness in apprising the nation of the infectious threat. Especially true at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.

Reporting on the hypocrite by hypocrites

The Biden campaign was receiving wide reporting on promises of a new, superior politi-virus plan. It turns out to be more of the same. Why no hard questions about truth and transparency? It was the same old plan from the Trump Age. How can that be? Why not give credit where credit is due?

Biden is mandating the wearing of masks on all federal property. He then immediately undermined his own order during the first few hours on the job. He was maskless during a photo op at the Lincoln Memorial. Hypocrite.

President Biden announced during his first few hours in office: “There’s nothing we can do to change the trajectory of the pandemic in the next several months.” So where are the questions about his campaign claims? For the first time, we now learn that there is “nothing” Biden can do about politi-virus? How shocking, this lack of reporting candor.

Like we did not grasp the obvious. Or maybe it was Biden who did not grasp. This must mean Biden is planning a news conference to give former president Trump credit for having done the right thing and not leaving behind a mess… We are waiting for that to happen but not holding our breath.
