Bureaucrat Caught Being Honest About the Climate Agenda Has Resigned

Five days after his “I can’t even say this publicly” comment went public, climate undersecretary (or is that undersecretary for climate) David Ismay has resigned. Pushed out, most likely, to save face after telling the truth, and getting caught. For admitting that the Climate Cult’s goals put the screws to people.

He’s not moving on because he was wrong; the sin was saying it aloud and getting caught.

Does that mean that all the people in the conference call who are nodding while he was talking are going to quit? Hell, no! They were Vermont Cultists. Ismay is probably on his way there to start his new job as the undersecretary for undersecretaries to the Green Mountain State’s Green Putting the screws to the people division.

The whole thing is about screwing people over, and the poorer they are, the tighter the screws.

Look at the New Green Deal. Another honest admission of their goals. Doucehbags like John Kerry get to travel in private jets because they have to be who they are while your kids might never “see” air travel. They’ll “know snow,” but transportation under our Greedy Green Overlords looks a lot more like life in 1860 than the first half of the 21st century.

He apologizes in his resignation level, but again, it’s about being misunderstood.

I would like to apologize, again, for my comments at last month’s Vermont Climate Council meeting. My inability to clearly communicate during that discussion reflected poorly on the Governor, on you, and on our hardworking staff.

He spoke the unvarnished truth. Few if any Left-Wing ideas manage to harm anyone but the lower and middle-class.

And the sort of interventions into the marketplace that these government agencies and their politician bosses are pursuing under cover of “climate” do exactly what Mr. Ismay claimed.

He’s not leaving because he lied. He is going because the truth hurts his political bosses, and that perception is the only truth that matters.
