And right on cue, here comes NHDP Ray Buckley calling for the firing of Troy Police Chief David Ellis simply because he was there in DC and happens to be a Trump Supporter.
New Hampshire Democratic Party Chairman Ray Buckley said Ellis ought to resign. “For a police chief to attend a rally that led to such destruction and violence and express no regret is simply unimaginable,” Buckley said.
His faux outrage isn’t the DC part – that’s just a convenient political club. Instead, it’s about a government employee not hewing the Democrat line. As if Ellis had a crystal ball in his cruiser that that predicted the future as to what was going to happen. Ellis did nothing wrong and broke nothing – he was just there along with thousands of others that were just there. The only personal destruction that’s going on is what you and the rest of your pack of hyenas are trying to do by both putting words into his location and a mouth that isn’t moving.
Do I need to start putting those videos up again? Those are worse than what Ellis did and YOU have never expressed any real apologies for the absolute horrors you wanted seen done. Buckles, just shut up – you just made yourself, yet again, look stupid. Like your prediction of how the State wide elections were going to turn out.
BTW, Ray, why haven’t you told NH State Rep Katherine Rogers to quit after she pleaded guilty to assaulting Susan Olsen? That really WAS an act that towers well above just being in DC? Or is it all a fraud on your part?

You can see this in things like Simon & Schuster canceling Josh Hawley’s book, calls for the expulsion from Congress of Republicans who objected to the electoral college tally on Wednesday, and demands (by a CNN person on Twitter, since deleted) that the nation needed to be “cleansed” of Trump supporters. Look for the censorious spirit of the left’s “cancel culture” to go into overdrive now, instead of receding with the end of the Trump Administration.

Thankfully, I was wrong. All that was happening was that the left was again using Justice Thomas’s wife, Ginny, as a pressure point for their attacks on him. House Speaker gave President Donald Trump an ultimatum to either step down from office or face a second impeachment from House Democrats. Democrats said they would charge President Donald Trump on Monday with incitement of insurrection in one article of impeachment over the rioting at the U.S. Capitol.
“Today, the House Democratic Caucus had an hours-long conversation that was sad, moving and patriotic. It was a conversation unlike any other, because it followed an action unlike any other,” said Pelosi in a statement on Friday. “It is the hope of Members that the President will immediately resign,” she added. “But if he does not, I have instructed the Rules Committee to be prepared to move forward with Congressman Jamie Raskin’s 25th Amendment legislation and a motion for impeachment.”
Fox News reported that the impeachment article had 131 co-sponsors sign on.

The elite and media response to the riot at the Capitol has been of one voice: this is an attack on “our democracy.” What they don’t understand (or refuse to) is that if you think the election was unfree and unfair, as 30-40% of people apparently do according to polling, the fake election was the attack on democracy, and it already happened, making the government illegitimate! The endless hot takes by people racing to be the first or most vigorous to give these people the “to a gas chamber – go!” treatment, rather than trying to convince them they’re wrong about the election itself, is the opposite of what a healthy polity would produce, and vastly different from the elite reaction to the riots this summer. It’s straight out of the campus playbook I’ve dealt with for the last 17 years, and the consequences are likely to be even more dangerous.
And if you are a book writing conservative that stands up and acts according to the Powers that Congress has, you get cancelled:

Frankly, it’s ALL the Democrats that are verbally going Postal. And this is why the Left is intellectually incoherent and unmoored:

But the Left now smells blood in the water, Despite their underwhelming performance in the congressional elections, the Democrats find themselves in the barest possession of the Congress as well as the White House—but they will act as if they had a mandate on the landslide lines of Nixon in 1972 and Ronald Reagan in 1980. And they want revenge.
It’s not enough for their repellant leaders, Nancy Pelosi and Sen. Charles Schumer, that Trump must office leave in less than two weeks. They want him gone now, before his term is up; they want to humiliate him and expel him from the White House either via the 25th amendment or by a second impeachment, as Pelosi now says she endorses.
In addition, the president has been suspended from Twitter as well as Facebook, thus cementing the role of social media as arbiters of official orthodoxy. State lawsuits also await him and his family the moment he leaves 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue. The prospect of Trump’s organizing a competing event as Biden is sworn in on Jan. 20, and spending the next four years rallying his supporters against the Biden-Harris administration, or forming a third party, absolutely terrifies the Permanent Bipartisan Fusion Party of Republicans and Democrats. They need to destroy him politically as well as personally.
And THAT is EXACTLY why all of this is happening. Under the guise of Rahm Emmanual’s “never let a good crisis go to waste” thinking, the Left (and the spineless RINOs) are always attuned for any chink in anyone’s armor that allows a penetration point.
But why should his exit be any different from his entrance? The Washington Post was advocating his impeachment on the day of his inauguration. Members of the intelligence community and political officials, including perhaps Barack Obama and Biden themselves, sicced the FBI on Trump during his campaign, monitored his communications, set perjury traps for his incoming officials, opened an entirely bogus “Russian collusion” investigation they knew was false, and impeached him over a phone call to the Ukraine that threatened to expose the breathtaking extent of the Biden family’s corruption—something the disgraceful legacy media covered up as well.
There was never any good will, no honeymoon, nor even any common decency.
For the 70+ million Trump voters, what to do now? Bitter as it is, accept the loss, re-assess their relationship with the Republican Party, learn to organize at the grassroots level, and develop a donor base that will finance and support ideas instead of candidates, and then find the men and women who embody our core principles of liberty and equal justice under the law and nominate them. Either that, or start a new party, one explicitly dedicated to the preservation of the Constitution.
Can we do that last part?

Twitch Suspends Donald Trump’s Account Indefinitely
Twitch has locked President Donald Trump’s account indefinitely following the riots that took place on Capitol Hill on Wednesday.
“In light of yesterday’s shocking attack on the Capitol, we have disabled President Trump’s Twitch channel,” a Twitch spokesperson said in a statement, according to the Verge. “Given the current extraordinary circumstances and the President’s incendiary rhetoric, we believe this is a necessary step to protect our community and prevent Twitch from being used to incite further violence,” the statement continued. The company added that it would reassess Trump’s account after his term as president ends on January 20.
Yeah, that reassessment won’t take place – I’d bet on it. Shopify certainly isn’t:

The online retail platform Shopify has shut down online stores for any entity affiliated with President Trump, claiming that the president has violated its standards for threatening or condoning violence. Shopify announced the move on Thursday following a Wednesday riot by a pro-Trump crowd in the Capitol over the results of the election. Online stores for Trump’s campaign and the Trump Organization, which is largely a real estate company, were shut down on Thursday.
