I had an email conversation with a reader about Dems and Local Policing. They were wondering, what’s the deal not just with defund but not investigating crimes. Why are these Democrats letting criminals out of jail or not prosecuting a growing list of criminal behavior?

The answer, dear Watson, is American Socialism.
It’s all part of the plan for national policing. I’ve written about that numerous times. If people are fat and happy and safe they have no use for central planners and top-down control.
The virus fraud, the election fraud, the defund movement, the ignoring crime, and freeing criminals is all pressure applied to the middle class to make them uncomfortable enough to demand a top-down solution.
And Democrat Cities and States are happy to offload the cost of their high crime and big deficit spending on rural folks who have law and order – and that’s what it would do.
Stability and prosperity are the enemies of the Left’s ideological goals for America. When Obama said the economy would never be what it once was (new normal), that was a brick in the wall. Trump tore that one down and built one on the southern border.
He made America great again. His economy seemed unstoppable until COVD19. A non-issue flu that, while contagious, is harmless to nearly all Americans but a few, like most Flus. But they needed a way to get America down and keep her there.
They crafted a pandemic into a casedemic and used fear for control.
The states and cities that are doing the most damage to their tax base as a result (exclusively Democrat-run) are the same that are allowing riots, releasing criminals, and refusing to investigate or charge what they call petty crimes.
These are the places where decades of Democrat rule define what appears to be systemic racism. Their cops, their laws, their leadership. BLM (and George Floyd) has been the most recent tip of that spear. Before that, it was Michael Brown, before him Trayvon Martin. Then there is every act of terror or shooting. Excuses Obama used as President to inject federal oversight into local policing.
Why did his administration dump money into militarizing local cops with MRAPS? Money democrat cities scooped up and spent to militarize their police. An investment in the promised future of increased federal oversight or national policing.
While (always) blaming Republicans for what Democrats have gotten rich on for most of their party’s existence. The misery of minorities.
I can’t say it often enough.
They disarm their citizens not to make them safe but to make them into victims.
They refuse to enforce petty crime so (disarmed) business owners and residents who can’t stop thugs demand change from a higher power.
They let criminals out of jail to commit crimes: start or fuel riots, arson, assault, burglary, robbery.
The Middle-Class is the single biggest barrier in America to the Democrat’s agenda. To the swamp agenda. So, the left will push until they demand that thing for which Democrats have unleashed all this chaos to achieve.
Do not give up local control of policing. Replace local leaders with those who will defend it not defund it. Your freedom depends on it.
