It has been a deadly year for freedom. There was a political virus and our political system imposed a crushing economic shutdown. We had riots in cities around the country, and an election less than half of us think reflects our votes. We hope we have found a bottom and are turning the corner.
Leftists are not conservative
Leftists among us see these very horrible things and they revel in them. When we are experiencing the most harm, life is overwhelming and we at a point of exhaustion they see opportunity. The opportunity isn’t to make things better. It isn’t to recover from our afflictions. Nope. They see their opportunity to push its destructive agenda. It is imperative conservatives unite to stop the damage.
Leftists know America is at a point of diminishing returns with respect to climate action. Yet, it won’t stop promoting socialist climate policies. Why? Because they are not actually for the climate. They are for acquiring more power and control for themselves. They do that by growing government, growing debt, and harming their fellow citizens while blaming others for the harm they cause. It is imperative conservatives unite to slow the spread.
Leftists know things like government-run health care are not the best thing for most people. But they are not about building things. They wreck everything they touch. When they touch something it doesn’t work and it costs way more. To add insult to injury they take credit for non-existent gains. They and the effects of their ideology are evil. It is imperative conservatives unite to stop the spread.
Leftists are for identity politics, racial division, bending a knee to our worst enemies, and penalties for offending the sensibilities of the woke. They favor more taxes, more regulation and less freedom. It’s all for the collective don’t ya’ know. It is imperative conservatives unite because it increases our strength.
Our strength comes from our belief in and our shared love of freedom
Their threats continue to grow. Americans are feeling anxious. We worry about what America will look like even two years from now. This why conservatives of all stripes must recognize the importance of our commonalities. We need to unite and work together in a common cause to fight back in 2021. To make things better we must identify fellow conservatives.
We need to deemphasize our differences. Recognize this; our strength comes from our beliefs. Our shared love of freedom is far more important than our differences. We must put them aside and join the battle immediately in front of us. The prevention of the takeover of America by the left is our common cause.
This is call to band together to fight against those actively working to destroy America as we know it. Conservatives need to remember: We don’t all have to play the same part. But to win, we do have to play on the same team. To paraphrase Benjamin Franklin: If we don’t hang together, we’ll all hang separately.
We cannot become parochial in our thinking. If we let ourselves get distracted while our nation is under attack. In doing so we risk letting life, liberty and property rights slip from our grasp. It’s OK to disagree among ourselves. Debate is good. It can often lead to better answers.
We must avoid personal attacks and cancel culture
Working together means civil discussion and being open to hearing new ideas. It means rejecting the tactics of the left. We must avoid personal attacks and cancel culture. They have no place among conservatives. It means keeping our eyes on the prize. We must have a strong, free, and prosperous America for all Americans.
Those who believe this country’s founding principles are what gave us the greatest nation on Earth must work together to keep her great. Our future is too important to leave anyone out of the fight. And we must find reason to be optimistic. During the recent elections, conservatives made substantial gains.
New Hampshire sees the light. We are making gains, even with those who have not traditionally thought of themselves as conservatives. It is important to reflect on why this is happening and leverage it. America must be taken back and secured so our kids and grandkids can know the benefits of freedom.
Voters are rejecting the Leftist agenda in November. Rather than adding to the Leftist numbers in government, we sent more conservatives to office. We need to be heartened President Trump saw historic gains. He grew a broad coalition of Americans. He increased his percentage of black, Latino, and Asian American voters over 2016. We can expand and grow this result.
Conservative policies just work better for everyone
Many of these new conservative voters understand. The left has gone past what’s best for the most people. Conservative policies just work better for everyone. They see cutting taxes and regulations gave rise to the greatest economic expansion. Their ship rose too with the tide of success.
We need to move toward more and higher paying jobs. The lowest unemployment rate in five decades is helpful to all people, and the most helpful to those most in need. They see how conservative policies made America energy independent. It is proving energy costs and gas prices don’t always have to go up.
They see conservatives prioritize veterans’ care. We work to rebuild our national defense. They know there are increasing threats around the world. We act to protect our families and our freedoms. When they are free to choose schools that best met their children’s needs their children perform better and are happier. Our interests align.
These and other gains are undeniable. Yet, a long list of leftists, politicians, activists, and public officials are ready to roll them back. They will do so without a moment’s hesitation. As the conservative movement builds, 2021 is no time to take a break. We cannot retreat or to go our own separate ways. Combination of our efforts into a whole that’s greater and more powerful than the sum of its parts is necessary.
Our lives, our fortunes and our sacred honor
We must unite in common purpose against those who mean this nation harm. The purpose is the fight for the principles that gave us the freest, most prosperous nation on Earth… And it is not over. You and I must fight to fulfill the promises of our Forefathers. What we have and enjoy, we must pass on to our children and our children’s children. Ours is a nation that’s at least as free as the one we inherited.
History and the infinite sacrifice of those who came before leave that sacred obligation in our hands. America and her generations yet to come deserve no less. Success requires our fullest commitment to seeing it through. We mutually pledge to each other our lives, our fortunes and our sacred honor.
