…Americans stocked up on firearms last year to the tune of over 21 million rifles, pistols and shotguns. That’s a whopping 60% increase of the number sold last year and proof positive that when it comes to defending themselves and their families, people across the country decided in 2020 that relying on local governments and law enforcement — especially given what they were seeing on their televisions — wasn’t a good idea.
…The fact that more than 21 million background checks were conducted for the sale of a firearm in 2020 shows just how much value the American public places in their God-given Second Amendment rights. This record year surpassed 2019’s totals by 60 percent and the previous record of 2016 by 34 percent. NSSF estimates that more than 8.4 million people legally purchased a firearm for the first time in 2020.
And I like this last question:
How many of those 21 million more guns, let alone the 425 million already in civilian hands, do you think Americans will be willing to give up if the Biden administration decides to outlaw any of them?
Especially after all of the allegations of lawbreaking in the form of vote fraud that have taken place over the last six months, not to mention all the rioting that the Same Party allowed to happen while handcuffing their own police forces to not respond to those that need their help?
You do that and people will and are going to understand they are on their own. And if that is the case, they naturally will seek out anything or anyone that secure their safety. No, I’m not going to the “when a tyrant promises food and security” lane – while not an impossibility, I’d rather think that American Rugged Individualism is still a trait that is of value (even as Progressives are trying to beat that out of we Freedom loving crowd). They will, as the next step, seek to join like minded people to help protecting everyone’s family and property.
Think neighborhood watches with some fairly large clubs. We’ve all seen the “Looters will be shot on sight” after any number of hurricanes that have hit our shores the last few years.
Instead of Nature’s hurricanes, think Antifa / Black Lives Matters rioters out for your blood walking to your street. So, who will you want surrounding you: Shannon Watts of the Bloomberg Civilian Disarmament Astroturf “Moms Demand Action” or Moms Ready for Action with their friends from the Sig, Springfield, Glock, Walther, Mossberg, Colt, Smith & Wesson near and distant family cousins and relations?
Yeah, me too.
So, how much WILL the Biden Administration be willing to spend their political capital to take away our firearm capital?
