Before Facebook labels this as fake or mission context, the source is CBS News, Channel 13, in Sacramento. They report that a local hospital was dismayed when only 40% of employees signed up to get the new COVID19 vaccine.

We’ve already seen many hesitating before vaccinating. Even some frontline workers are resisting it.

That’s what prompted local hospital officials to come up with the idea to pay their workers to get the shots. … Only 40% of the employees at Oak Valley Hospital initially signed up to get the shots.

That’s when hospital officials decided to offer $300 incentives to workers with documentation showing they got the second dose.

They’ll call it an incentive, but it’s actually a bribe, which doesn’t surprise me. What surprises me is that this is California, and they have not made the vaccine mandatory.

And yes, the bribes appear to be working. More people have signed up to take the cash and get the shot—a precedent with which the hospital may now have to live.
