England is a very #woke nation. They tend to be all-in on the post-modern morass of BS. But they’ve just taken a step back from this circus of nonsense. Unconscious bias training will no longer be required for civil servants because they say it doesn’t work.

People who live off the practice will be outraged. But who’s to say that’s not just their unconscious bias about unconscious bias training? Or, better yet, their systemic racism toward white people who refuse to play their stupid games. I’d go with both and a heap of other issues.
First, if you’re not clear, “Unconscious bias happens outside our conscious awareness. This bias is typically a learned stereotype that’s automatic and mostly unintentional. Unconscious bias can be so systemically ingrained that it can alter our behavior and how we interact with the people around us.”
You don’t know it’s happening, but they do.
The cure for this problem is repetitious speech and thought reprogramming by professional Leftists. Educated experts are committed to the idea that the state must control language at its root to control thought and behavior to create its socialist utopia.
Unconscious bias training is just a means to that end.
The UK Ministers did not come to that conclusion specifically; they decided that it didn’t take based on the research.
A written ministerial statement from Cabinet Office minister Julia Lopez will announce “unconscious bias training does not achieve its intended aims. It will therefore be phased out in the civil service”.
“We encourage other public sector employers to do likewise,” she says, urging the end to training which has been widely used to address bias in race, gender and sexuality.
We can’t fix the racist bigots, so let them be?
The government says it is “determined to eliminate discrimination in the workplace,” but unconscious bias training is the wrong approach. That, “there has been “no evidence” that the training improved workplace equality,” and “the findings suggested, “changes in implicit bias don’t last.”
That might explain why, no matter how many examples you present, Democrats still don’t think they are a bunch of sexist, racist douchebags.
It does not, however, account for the success of the Education Industrial Complex.
A problem for another day, perhaps.
