Data Point – How Accurate Were the Polls?

Blue Wave!  Blue Wave!  Blue…..just wave it goodbye. No, I’m not impressed. And a whole lot of other people haven’t been either. Things got tighter in the Prez race and the GOP was supposed to lose the Senate by several seats?

Instead, they are winning in Alaska and North Carolina and should pick up one of the two runoffs in Georgia which will keep the Senate in GOP hands.

Lastly, the US the House was supposed to get close to the supermajority level for the Democrats. Instead, they have already lost 5 seats and are apt to lose more.

In fact, IF everything breaks the GOP way, there is a very outside chance they could take over. Or pull an NH House (Doug Scamman) trick and “entice” a few Dems ticked at the Progressive wing of their Party f(or putting them into such a position – e.g., the Squad) to support a Republican Speaker of the House. Virtual control if not numerical control.  But I digress from the topic:
