Biden Intends a Wealth Tax … It’s for the Children

Biden intends a wealth tax

Biden’s intends a wealth tax. He’s doing it for the children. Of course, he’s not calling it that. But that is what it is. When you tax people based on what they own that is a form of wealth tax. For example, the wealth tax in Islam is 2.5%. I’m not saying Biden is getting his idea there You’ll have to research that one on your own.

What the dementia patient is gun control. Among his proposals are items that will cost Americans tens of billions of dollars. His bright idea is to add massive taxes for firearms and accessories you have in your possession, things you already own. It is a wealth tax. He intends it to be confiscatory.

The Washington Free Beacon concludes that owning guns that are perfectly legal will become very expensive. This assumes a Biden presidential victory. It also assumes legislative success. Stephen Gutowski of The Free Beacon concludes if Biden is successful more than $34 billion in new wealth taxes could be on the way for gun owners.

Use of taxation to control your behavior

Those taxes would target Americans who own popular sporting guns such as the AR-15 platform rifle. The tax applies to both rifles and magazines. Anything that holds more than 10 rounds will be subject to a $200 tax stamp per item. Gutowski reports:

“At least 20 million rifles and 150 million ammunition magazines would be caught up in the sales ban and registration scheme Biden touted on the campaign trail…”

In this, he is citing a report from the National Shooting Sports Foundation. Gutowski came up with the estimated price tag on already-owned hardware. Per the report, there are an estimated 20 million sporting rifles in civilian hands. They often carry the improper description of “assault rifles”. It’s not exactly clear how many high-capacity magazines are out there. It seems Gutowski used the number 150 million for magazines as an estimate.

Generally speaking, Americans are quite fond of our Second Amendment rights. We also are not fond of taxes. Taxes used as behavioral control measures are especially egregious. The NSSF estimates Americans bought 214 million guns between 1991 and 2019.

It is easier to impose tyranny on unarmed people

Axios estimates Americans own a combined 270 million firearms. That’s roughly 40 percent of the world’s guns. The Austin American-Statesman in Texas has a different estimate. They put the figure 390 million guns collectively owned by Americans. Support for stricter laws for gun sales is declining. That has been the case since 2016 according to a recent Gallup survey. Given the state of the country, it’s hard to imagine gun control becoming more popular.

Biden has made it clear. He wants to ban new sales of popular sporting rifles. That bucks the sentiment in this country. We are not moving toward gun control. Just look at the record amounts of firearms sold this year. The call is “Molon Labe”, come and take it. Biden’s intends a wealth tax. He’s doing it for the children.

But Democrats can be very cunning. The plan right now appears to use the Democrat tool of taxation to achieve gun control. The Anarchists, Antifa, BLM, and Islamists masquerading as Democrats want to make Americans’ sacred Second Amendment rights cost-prohibitive. They want all guns in the hands of the government. It is much easier to ramp up the tyranny when the people have no way to throw off their oppressors.
