WHO Says Lockdowns Are Dangerous – Harm Economically Vulnerable

The World Health Organization has a new concern. They want world leaders to “stop using lockdown as your primary control method.” Their reasoning? It isn’t good for people’s lives and livelihoods. Sound familiar?

The ReopenNH movement, which we have endorsed and assisted from the beginning, was always about allowing individuals and business owners to make choices in their best interests and let employees and consumers do the same.

Along comes the WHO to say the same thing we’ve been saying for 7 months. A critical and necessary position given that we are entering flu season and the urge to confine people will be hard to suppress.

“We in the World Health Organization do not advocate lockdowns as the primary means of control of this virus,” Nabarro said. – “The only time we believe a lockdown is justified is to buy you time to reorganize, regroup, rebalance your resources, protect your health workers who are exhausted, but by and large, we’d rather not do it.”

Nabarro said tight restrictions cause significant harm, particularly on the global economy. – “Lockdowns just have one consequence that you must never, ever belittle, and that is making poor people an awful lot poorer,” he said.

For the record, lockdowns are political acts of force that create economically vulnerable people.

It is also safe to say that the party of lockdowns (democrats) is also the party that claims to be the champion of the poor or disadvantaged. They claim many other mantles as well, but only Donald Trump significantly improved their lives. A booming economy that the Democrats dreamed would collapse before the election. And it did.

There are no coincidences.

Those same Democrats will sacrifice you and your family in their pursuit of power. In too many instances, they already have.
