Joe Malcoun is the co-owner of the Blind Pig in Ann Arbor, Michigan, and in a recent Biden Ad, says he’s got issues. “For 50 years, The Blind Pig has been open and crowded – but right now it’s an empty room,” – “This is the reality of Trump’s COVID response.” He has issues, but that’s not it.

The Blind Pig struggles because Democrat Joe Malcoun openly supports governor Michigan Gretchen Whitmer’s oppressive COVID19 lockdowns and stays at home orders.
In other words, his reality is NOT a result of something Donald Trump did or did not do. It is a product of his support for oppressive Democrat COVID19 politics meant to suppress the economy. The orders were recently ruled unconstitutional by the Michigan State Supreme Court.
Outside of Michigan, outside of most Democrat cities and states, the nation is experiencing a robust V-Shaped recovery. Joe’s problem isn’t Trump; it’s Democrats. But Malcoun is one, and he’s loaded.
After inheriting money from his wife’s grandfather, which he likened to “winning the lottery,” Malcoun said he founded CKM Capital Partners in 2013 and eventually became an “angel investor” in local tech companies, according to a 2018 interview with Click On Detroit.
He’s also served as CEO of Nutshell, a customer relationship management software company, since 2014, and under his leadership the firm raised at least $5.5 million in angel and venture capital, according to his Crain’s Detroit Business 40 under 40 profile.
Another fact missing from the ad: Malcoun has given Biden at least 5,000 dollars, which, if you are talking “living wage™,” is real money.
In Democrat narrative land, it takes a struggling waitress – perhaps one working at a “once-popular” bar like the Blind Pig, almost two years to make that much unless she knows Hunter Biden.
If she knows Joe Malcoun she’s been out of work for months, while Malcoun, who likes to invest in tech start-ups, “co-founded Cahoots, a co-working tech hub, and purchased three buildings in downtown Ann Arbor to host entrepreneurs.”
Distanced and masked, I assume?
The Ad aired last Sunday during NFL games on CBS but has since been pulled or made ‘private.’
“The Biden campaign and Malcoun did not immediately return Fox News’ request for comment.”
