Note that the headline, “Do You Support the Switch to Indigenous Peoples’ Day?,” doesn’t mention “from what?” You have to get down into the article before you realize this is just another attempt to “nudge the news” away from the traditional American heritage and history of Columbus Day.

The poll is here. Right now, only 66% of the folks taking the poll are still in favor of the traditional holiday of Columbus Day.
It bears repeating – if you unhook the American people from its actual heritage and values, you can morph it into anything you want. Just look at Howard Zinn’s radicalized version of our history which, in part, has turned our youngsters into hating this country.
Continue to remove it and replace it with revisionistic pseudo-history whose purpose is NOT to present history and you get a revamped future – and not one in which our Founders and their political genius are valued.
