The coming twelve months are going to challenge America. We have a coming monetary reset. Add that to the unrest in the streets. Add that to conflicts with China, Russia, and Islam. There is a lot of pressure building nationally and internationally. Things can go to hell in a handbasket in a hurry.

It is beginning to feel like America is at a fork in the road. Will we stop the pendulum swing to the left and return to a more traditional America? The alternative is America abandons the founding principles, the rule of law, and goes full-on totalitarian, Marxist.
Many view what has been happening in our streets as a racial reckoning. That makes no sense. It is utterly incongruent with the actions on the ground. One violent career-criminal died at the hands of police, resisting arrest. That is not the cause of what is going on in America today.
Radical ideas put into action
We are seeing radical ideas like defunding the police go mainstream. We’ve seen Leftist media such as The New York Times bow to “woke” mob. We are watching them cancel all who don’t conform to the radical left. We have corporate America endorsing the racist, Marxist Black Lives Matter organization.
These things haven’t happened in a bubble. If you want to try to unravel the Leftist movement, the leading authors du jour are Robin DiAngelo and Ibram X. Kendi. However let me offer, the task seems a fool’s errand in that they are fanatics. One cannot reason with a fanatic. They are serving a righteous cause and to them, all means are justified.
Their works are distinct, though both writers promote an ideology they call “anti-racism.” If you are a fanatic already, these two authors are shaping the modern discussion over “wokeness.” It’s good to know the enemy. To defeat them having an understanding of what they believe helps make them predictable.
So, why would a mob opposed to white supremacy attack statues of both a slaveholder and an abolitionist? This is an example of mindless, wanton destruction. But what do the “woke” believe they are doing? Is the intent to embrace some larger set of ideas? Are they creating a merciless dichotomy? Are they trying to force us to choose racists or anti-racists? The coming twelve months are going to be tumultuous.
