Twitter mouths a lot of words about being a place where bigotry and intolerance are not accepted, except when Twitter supports the bigotry and intolerance. Twitter is the place where bigotry, bullying, and intolerance against certain people is just fine.

After appearances at the RNC black speakers were targeted on Twitter with the racial slur “Uncle Tom.” This was trending on Tuesday. Herschel Walker, Vernon Jones, Kim Klacik, and Senator Tim Scott spoke the night before. It is okay to disagree with their political speech. It is not okay to conduct bigoted and racist attacks against them.
Yes, blacks can be just as bigoted as whites. If you don’t believe that then take statements by blacks and view them as if they came from a white person. If what is said is racist when a white says it, then it is racist when a black says it. It is the statement or action which is bigoted.
Dorsey, Kendi, and Farrakhan
Jack Dorsey is the majority owner of Twitter. He just donated $10 million to Ibram X. Kendi. Mr. Dorsey has every right to give his money to whomever he wants. He can use it for any legal purpose he wants. But Dorsey is a very bright guy and well knows Mr. Kendi is a racist.
Kendi wants to have an “anti-racist” Constitutional Amendment. This would create a “Department of Anti-Racism.” That in turn would be a government agency. Presumably, bureaucrats would comb through laws to make sure that they weren’t racist. They would also “monitor public officials for expressions of racist ideas.”
So, the questions become: How does that square with the First Amendment? Since when is it okay to have thought police working actively against public officials? But if that is Mr. Dorsey’s chosen use for his money we should respond accordingly. That means we should not support Mr. Dorsey’s income stream. Blacks speak at the RNC and Leftists are reverting to form
Would Kendi’s DOA be even-handed? Leftists are pretty racist. Look at what is trending on Dorsey’s platform. It is being done by those on the “tolerant” left. Maybe this means Louis Farrakhan would be proud of Kendi’s approach. Maybe he is a recipient of Mr. Dorsey’s largess also. We should look into that. Farrakhan is an adherent to Islam. He is a known racist. He works for a separate black nation. His views appear to fit nicely with those of Mr. Kendi.
