Police Using Drones to Keep Beaches Empty and to Identify Unmasked Residents in Public

Police in Australia deployed drones to enhance their COVID19 enforcement duties. Aerial surveillance will make sure the beaches, playgrounds, and skate parks are empty and that people in public parks are wearing masks.

It’s all part of their battle to control COVID19 the population. Here’s a short report from 7 News Melbourne. My favorite part: “There is some concern that this style of policing won’t end when the pandemic is over.”

This sort of thing continues to amaze me. We just added more data yesterday, demonstrating that none of this makes a damn bit of difference. That you can achieve the same results with Sweden’s tack as the totalitarian regimes of New York, California, and increasingly, New Hampshire.

There is no need for any shutdowns, kids can go to school, no mask mandates, and no mandated distancing required.

The results are almost identical to where we are with all that political destruction with one crucial difference. Sweden didn’t have the rise in alcohol abuse, drug abuse, domestic abuse, or suicides.

Drones won’t fix that and whatever you do, don’t believe them if they try to convince you they will.

Correction: Arial surveillance, seriously. How ironic is that for an auto-correcting feature?
