Colorblindness Is the Problem and Racist: Part I

Pin the tail on the racist

Colorblindness is racist, or at least that’s what the woke would have us believe. It’s not true, but then again look who is making the assertion. Woke doctrine fundamentally rejects the concept of equal opportunity. It asserts America is a deeply racist society. That is false. But, buy the premise, buy the argument.

The woke argue that in a deeply racist society everything is conditioned to white supremacy.  Therefore equal opportunity under the law perpetuates only more inequality. Think about that. It is racist and wrong. It rejects the very idea that efforts undertaken to remedy an identified issue are not worth the undertaking. The logic itself is regressive, not progressive. It is intolerant, not tolerant.

Woke individuals rebuke the idea of colorblindness. Some may focus more in a cultural sense. They argue colorblindness is a sign of white privilege. To them, it is a manipulation of the message of Martin Luther King Jr. to perpetuate more racism. It is hard to understand how such ignorance is tolerated let alone embraced.

Why Martin Luther King was an idiot… if you are woke

The woke position is: Color-blind ideology makes it difficult for us to address these unconscious beliefs. The idea of color blindness may have started out as a well-intentioned strategy for interrupting racism. In practice, it serves to deny the reality of racism and thus hold it in place.

White people must build their racial “stamina” to overcome their white fragility. Translation: black racism is good. White anything is evil. This is as evil as it is both racist and wrong.

Woke fanatics assert the way for white people to do this is to recognize their white identity. Whitey must embrace and critically examine collective “white identity.” This is the mandatory antidote to white fragility. They are to use their white identity as a way to “challenge racism”… their own.

The translation: be ashamed of your color while having envy for other colors. You may only be critical of all people and things white. That amounts to encouraging self-hatred and loathing. Colorblindness is the problem and racist, you understand. There is no value in diversity. That is racist too.

People are not perfect but no individual can love others if they do not love themselves first. Woke theology lays on white people the responsibility of attacking and defeating racism and “whiteness.” Should people of any color accept such a burden? How does such a religion make any society better, stronger, more tolerant, or cohesive? How can this be anything but strategy, a tactic of division by Leftists, Marxists, and Islam?
