Americans (of color) have been hijacked. The far-left is using you to advance a political system based on economic slavery. It seems to me, given the tumultuous history surrounding that practice, that Black America would take offense and tell the Marxists to stop culturally appropriating their lives.

The entire BLM movement has hijacked your lives and your history to push economic slavery, and the latest expression of this was the J20 nationwide strike for Black Lives, which appears to have been a near-total failure.
The “Strike for Black Lives” protest was organized by labor unions and social and racial justice organizations, which planned a range of actions in more than two dozen U.S. cities. Where work stoppages were not possible for a full day, participants picketed during a lunch break or observed moments of silence to honor Black lives lost to police violence, organizers said.
Other than some folks gathering in already Left-wing Democrat strongholds (singing to the choir), we can’t say much was accomplished.
But these are the same far-left factions using race as a wedge to create a vacuum for Democrat Socialism because they long ago realized that the traditional class struggle was not their path to political success in America. Anyone from anywhere can start with nothing and work within Free-Market capitalism to become successful. It can be messy, it’s hard work, and there are no guarantees, but the rewards make it worth the effort.
Sure, the Left will push the class struggle but as wage inequality in a vacuum of absolutes that don’t even apply, in most cases. But what has been successful is race and gender divisions, the hammer and sickle of the American Left.
And we’ve allowed them some measure of success. It sells on TV, and accusations of racism while often hyperbolic are a successful foil for stunting resistance to their ideological agenda that – ironically – is more harmful to ‘black lives.’
Fewer cops result in more harm, not less. The economic system they propose would trap more Americans of color in poverty. Nothing they demand is good for anyone but people in power, a problem already before us in plain sight. Democrat rule is responsible for most of the inequity we see now, and BLM, the Unions, and the political Left are pushing more of that as the solution.
Nothing could be further from the truth, but until someone takes back the brand for Black America, they will use you, again and again, to secure a stranglehold on power that will make the current situation look like a blessing and not a curse.
