The Left’s Russian obsession may have claimed fresh casualties. Susan Rice, while taking a cheap shot at Donald Trump and his National Security Advisors, exposed Brack Obama to an identical charge over the rise of ISIS. Dereliction of duty. Well, not exactly identical.

It revolves around a debunked claim that the Russians were offering bounties for the deaths of US Soldiers. Raw intelligence that was unconfirmed, unverified, suffering from a complete lack of consensus inside the intelligence community. In other words, to borrow from Peter Strzok, there was no there-there.
Thousands if not millions of such details arise during an administration that fail the test and never find their way up the food chain. But according to Rice, “As a former national security adviser, I find it exceedingly difficult to believe that no one told Mr. Trump about this intelligence,” she claimed.
No one told him because you don’t bring unconfirmed unverified intelligence to the attention of a President. But what if the Intelligence Community had provided verified, corroborated, confirmed evidence to the President. They inserted the details into his daily briefings, and he either didn’t bother to read it or read it and did nothing?
Matt Margolis, writing at PJ Media, applies this “Susan Rice Standard” for Mr. Trump to Barack Obama.
“…we do know that President Obama was repeatedly briefed about the rise of ISIS, but failed to respond to this intelligence.
Is it possible Obama didn’t see the intel? It’s theoretically possible he missed multiple warnings. According to a former aide in the Obama administration, Obama got all his intelligence briefings in writing. “And it’s well-understood why,” explained the aide. “No one sits and watches him read them, and no one can come back later and tell Congress in a closed session that ‘I told the president this specific thing was likely to happen.’”
There are two possible explanations: (1) Obama saw the intelligence and did nothing, or (2) he never saw the intelligence.”
There has been plenty of speculation that the Bamster didn’t read them, or skimmed them. But applying the Susan Rice Standard, Margolis notes that a matter this important would have been brought directly to the President’s attention in person, not just in the printed briefs delivers to Barry-O on an IPad. Because “The intelligence on the rise of ISIS was also described as “highly accurate” and “actionable.”… Yet, Obama once claimed that the White House was caught off guard about the rise of ISIS.
That’s game, set, match. Thanks for hanging your former boss on a hook over a problem that had to be solved by who? Donald Trump. Why the left or propaganda outlets like the New York Times continue to publish anything Susan Rice has to say only proves how badly they wish it were true. Or, perhaps, given the current tantrums, she’s hoping to rewrite that history.
Susan Rice has a history of lying to the press and the public most famously, how the Benghazi attack was the result of a video no one had seen or heard of until the Obama Administration found it (probably during the raid) and blamed its creator.
But Rice is a good Democrat. Can’t tell the truth, sticks to her lies, deflects, and obfuscates—Cleary corrupt and probably on the take. Maybe Joe Biden should pick her to be his VP?
