Peaceful? PEACEful? PEACEFUL? (a take off of Bueller….anyone?)
That would be “cities” for you and me. And in a lot of cases, in particular Mayor Wheeler of Portland (who joined with the protesters who later turned on him in that old saw “The Left eventually eats its own”), those mayors and governors have all decided that their best policy comes back from that disgraced Mayor of Baltimore “space to destroy”. Uphold the Rule of Law? Protect the innocent? Protect the Right to Private Property?
Nope – it all comes down to this “Sedition makes Trump look bad politically”. Except, the Dems are starting to realize that riots going on all over the nation isn’t such a great look especially when Black Live Matters and Antifa cry “On to the suburbs!”. And when the suburbanites see this, that “good look” is turning rather sour.
Ya think that might be a driver of the SOARING numbers of first time gun owners thinking to themselves “the Democrat mayors are restricting their police (that is, if they have any left over from retirements, going out on medical leave, quitting, or just ghosting out.
