How Can New Hampshire Still Be In a “State of Emergency” When … Per CDC … COVID is LESS Dangerous than the Seasonal Flu?

The death rate of the seasonal flu … per Fauci and the WHO …. is .1%. I could not find the death rate broken down by same age categories, but I did locate this:

Which allows us to say that UNLESS YOU ARE at least 85 YEARS OLD, YOU HAVE A GREATER PROBABILITY OF DYING FROM THE SEASONAL FLU THAN FROM COVID.

And here are the “state of emergency” statutes:

 4:45 State of Emergency Declaration; Powers. –
I. The governor shall have the power to declare a state of emergency, as defined in RSA 21-P:35, VIII, by executive order if the governor finds that a natural, technological, or man-made disaster of major proportions is imminent or has occurred within this state, and that the safety and welfare of the inhabitants of this state require an invocation of the provisions of this section. The general court shall have the same power to declare a state of emergency by concurrent resolution of the house and senate. 

 21-P:35 Definitions. –
…
VIII. “State of emergency” means that condition, situation, or set of circumstances deemed to be so extremely hazardous or dangerous to life or property that it is necessary and essential to invoke, require, or utilize extraordinary measures, actions, and procedures to lessen or mitigate possible harm.

A virus that is less deadly than the seasonal flu … for which we don’t declare a “state of emergency” … clearly does NOT qualify as a “state of emergency.”

The people of New Hampshire continue to be gaslighted by #BabySununu, the NH-DemocRATS and the so-called “press.” There is NO justification for continuing the state of emergency. ALL the emergency orders should be rescinded IMMEDIATELY.
