Many of the people (they call them experts) that we’ve come to associate with climate prognostications have branched out into the virus predicting business. The media, politicians, “scientists” or “doctors” who appear on cable news. With the same success.
For over 30-years we’ve been warned about this or that based on climate models. All of it wrong. So, is it at all surprising, that the same cabal has done such a lousy job with their contagion models? Of course not. But it is not an accident.
The purpose of the models, to hijack a phrase from Dan Bongino, is to tell a story, not THE story. A story that is almost always the same. Some doom threatens our lives and the only cure for that is more government, which is an odd solution, History has proved true that the single biggest threat to you and your family is a large, powerful government.
And, that large, powerful government, inevitably become that threat, and allowing them to do so is the only doom you need to work desperately to prevent.
Governments are responsible for more misery, poverty, and have killed more people than any plague or change in the weather. Yet still, we are convinced (by the experts in or in league with the State) that giving a few humans increasing amounts of centralized authority over the many will ensure our safety.
Quite the opposite.
The experts are not sharing their wisdom to facilitate a more mobile and self-enriching world. They are lying to enrich themselves at your expense.
What does this have to do with the Maldives?
One of the canaries in the global warming Climate Change coal mine was this beautiful collection of 1200 Islands in the Indian Ocean. The experts, and their models, hoping to rob you blind, predicted they’d all be underwater. Gone by 2018. Give up comfort and convenience, and your money and your rights, and they will save the world.
Not only did that not happen but millions of investment dollars continue to end up there annually because capitalists know a good thing when they see it. Build it out and they will come, spending of their own free will.
A place with not one case of Coronavirus but at least one couple who went there on their honeymoon weeks ago and can’t leave. Virus-relate travel restrictions. They are trapped in paradise with the hotel staff doting on them.
The only pair left at their resort. Which isn’t even supposed to be above water. At least, that’s what the experts and their models told us. And they are still talking. And some folks are still listening.
