That’s little more than one-half the number of traffic fatalities in 2019 (99). Yet Governor Sununu refuses to admit that the lockdown … which never should have been enacted, and was based on politics, not science … should be lifted immediately. Instead, he continues to claim WITH NO EVIDENCE that the lockdown is preventing a coronpocalypse:
For the umpteenth time: The IMHE model always assumed the lockdown … from when it was projecting 351 deaths and overflowing hospitals to this latest iteration. The lockdown is NOT causing the many changes in the model. The changes are because the model has always been flawed. We knew that almost instantly when the model’s projections massively diverged from what we were seeing.
And for the umpteenth time: DHHS is reporting deaths “related to” Coronavirus, NOT “caused by” Coronavirus. So many, potentially all, of the 37 Coronavirus deaths DHHS has reported to this point may be deaths caused by other other, preexisting medical conditions and the deceased also tested positive for Coronavirus.
