It’s political MMA. The models were all wrong and the data does not comport with reality. Shutting the economy down is clearly far more dangerous to our well-being. But what happens when the President suggests we try to get back to normal?
During ‘Normal,’ tens of thousands of Americans die from flu annually. Tragic, but not something we shut the country down over. But we’re not in that battlespace. We’re in media-created panic space. Manufactured so that when we come out because it will make more sense than letting 3 million more people go on unemployment every week, the Democrats will use any deaths to charge the president with another fake crime.
