…According to the FEC, Steyer has spent $253,718,074 through January 31, 2020. All but $3,555,597 was from his own pocket. And that doesn’t count his millions spent on NexGen, his “get out the college vote” efforts or Need To Impeach organizations.
Just like Jimmy Carter was supplanted by Obama as our nation’s worst President, Steyer has now totally eclipsed Binnie for most wasteful candidate ever on a per voter basis.
But wait! Steyer can’t breathe easy just yet atop of the “loser candidate mountain” – Bloomberg is waiting to enter, stage Left, and has already doubled what Steyer has spent.
