Data Point – And I thought Bill Binnie had a bad ROI for his NH US Senate campaign years ago!

Tom Steyer

Was Tom Steyer’s Campaign the Worst in Presidential History? Billionaire spent $3,373 per vote and earned zero delegates.

That would be delegates to the Democrat National Committee convention that could vote in the Presidential nomination process.

…According to the FEC, Steyer has spent $253,718,074 through January 31, 2020. All but $3,555,597 was from his own pocket. Pre-Bloomberg, a quarter billion dollars for the first four primaries is a staggering amount. But the incredible lack of return on that investment is even more eye-popping, especially for someone whose campaign’s sole justification was his supposed business acumen.

…So $280 million for 83,000 votes comes to an astonishing $3,373 per vote.

And that doesn’t count his millions spent on NexGen, his “get out the college vote” efforts or Need To Impeach organizations.

Just like Jimmy Carter was supplanted by Obama as our nation’s worst President, Steyer has now totally eclipsed Binnie for most wasteful candidate ever on a per voter basis.

But wait! Steyer can’t breathe easy just yet atop of the “loser candidate mountain” – Bloomberg is waiting to enter, stage Left, and has already doubled what Steyer has spent.

Tonite may have some real interesting results…
