The Pomeranian Prince Buttigeig

Pete Buttigieg looks for opportunities to talk about his, “Military Service.” “I have the experience of being commanded into a war zone by an American president,” exclaimed Buttigeig during the November debates. “I have more military experience since anybody to arrive behind that desk since George H.W. Bush.” Buttigeig added. Well, that sounds impressive, does it not?

It all crap. Buttigeig is a “Push Button Officer.” To be crystal clear, Buttigeig did not commission in the traditional sense. Parents, harken back to when you took your kids down to the Parks & Recreation Department to sign them up for Soccer. You filled out some forms, provided a medical waiver and boom! Your kid was playing Soccer. This is about what Buttigeig did to become a Naval Officer. Paperwork, a health and fitness exam, a background check and he was in.

Push Button Naval Officer

Buttigeig never attended United States Naval Academy Annapolis. None of the Maritime Academies, He was never a “Rook,” or a “Midshipmen or Firstie.”   No months of intense training at Officer Candidate School. Nope. Buttigieg found a way to skip all those difficulties. Buttigeig ran no obstacle courses. “Veteran Pete,” endured no Swim Quals. Mayor Pete had no weapons training. The Mayor had no manual of Arms or drill or steeping of any of the great traditions of the navy. No evaluation of Pete’s ability or willingness to lead. He did not put in the work.

Properly completing paperwork, a health exam and a background check were all it took to make Mayor Pete a Commissioned Naval Officer. Direct Commissioning is for the politically connected, the washed and the establishment and those manicured soft-skinned few. The rank and file disparage officers like Petey as “Push Buttons,” and, “Pomeranian Princes,” or, “Spit Squids.”

Fobbits and other Fobbitry

Hunter Biden was in line for a direct commission…until he got, “popped on a piss test.”(Military lingo for rejection due to drug use) During my service in the U.S. Marine Corps, I worked directly under a Direct Commissioned Officer. He was about useless. I did his work while he fat-assed a chair. This was probably good for the Military, given his rank incompetence.

The largest part of Buttigieg’s multi-year Naval Career was to warm a chair in an admin office at Naval Station Great Lakes, Illinois. (That is what we call, “I&I (Inspection and Instruction) Staff Command, dog and pony show). Pete Buttigeig was never Fleet Navy.

Loafers not Putting in the Work

Buttigeig participated in an intelligence schools consuming all of 13 weeks, Total active duty racked up before Afghanistan is under two months. He spent five months in Afghanistan as a “fobbit.” Buttigeig wrote,

“I remained less busy than I’d been at City Hall, with more time for reflection and reading than I was used to back home.”

He continues,

I would take “a laptop and a cigar up to the roof at midnight to pick up a Wi-Fi signal and patch via Skype into a staff meeting at home.”

The closest he ever came to contact was ferrying staffers to and fro in an SUV. In his campaign kickoff speech last April he referred to

“119 trips I took outside the wire, driving or guarding a vehicle.”

What’s missing, Petey?

Buttigeig was warned many times by many people to stop being a blowhard about your Military service, which, clearly he ignored that advice. When I heard him bloviating about his military service, I just rolled my eyes because I thought it was a joke.

Mayor Pete Buttigeig is a joke. He was never Military material. Nothing about him shows the military pedigree. The vast majority of those who have served, put in the work and earned the title, versus papering into it as Buttigeig did.

Phony Fobbit Photos

Another Fobbit mistake is posing for a photo carrying a rifle. Mayor Pete is no different. First, the rifle is way to clean and in great condition. Battle rifles are dirty and beat up. In other words, They are used in battle! Second, He doesn’t have Battle complement on his rife. Where is the ACOG? (Advanced Combat Optical Gunsight-for the non-Military folks) Where is the AN/PEQ 15? (ATPIAL-Advanced Target Pointer Illuminator and Aiming Laser Unit) His uniform is too clean, He’s too clean-shaven and he looks rested.  People who work in any capacity outside the wire are none of those. (See photo Above).
