Writer, entrepreneur and spiritual leader Marianne Williamson has ended her presidential campaign, months after garnering viral attention in early debates, while earning curiosity but little support from Democratic voters.
She’s not an old white guy, Pete Butt Edge Edge, aside. But even Pete is more of a curiosity. A token young (gay) white male who can stand up next to the old white men the party base prefers. It’s for the show. See, look, a gay white guy. And he’s not over 70.
He has no chance of beating either Sanders or Biden, even though he is currently in the lead in NH in at least one poll.
See, even in a post about Marianne Williamson, we’re focusing on someone else.
Williamson’s campaign revolved around several policies including allocating $500 billion for reparations to African Americans and Native Americans, as well as other policies for tackling economic inequality. She advocated for the creation of several new governmental organizations, including a “Department of Peace,” and “U.S. Department of Children and Youth.”
I think her problem is that she is a genuine new age, something. When you meet her that’s who she is, and she expresses that in her ideas. She may also be crazy but in a nice way. Which means there was never any chance for her. Democrats love crazy, but in a third-world-dictator with first-world resources crazy.

If it were an infomercial, you’d be suspicious but put it in a Bernie email, and it lights up the left’s eyes and puts dimples in their cheeks because Bernie isn’t a Nigerian prince. He’s a Marxist from Vermont.

That’s not Marianne. Not that it matters. She’s not an old white guy nor has a ton of baggage. She never had a shot.
