Socialist broom rider Lying Lizzie says; in her reign, America will build no new buildings unless they are carbon neutral. That should be very reassuring to no one. There are no industry standards for carbon-neutral construction. This is political posturing, first last and always.
Carbon Neutrality
Carbon neutrality is a concept. It refers to having a net-zero carbon footprint. To achieve net-zero carbon dioxide emissions by balancing carbon emissions with carbon removal. More simply, eliminating carbon emissions altogether. What the heck does that mean in the real world? What device do you use to measure a building’s carbon footprint? This is pure political drivel.
Lieawatha said Wednesday that her administration would mandate that any new buildings built from 2028 onwards must be carbon neutral. What scares me is that she means we’ve got to be willing to do things like implementing a whole new field of regulation. The entire concept is political. Those who bow to the politically correct dogma of the administration will be allowed to survive. The rest of the construction industry can just suck eggs. That’s what she is saying.
Fauxcahontas also backs regulation that would make light-duty trucks and cars carbon neutral by 2030. The engineering required to make this happen is not in place. Fauxcahontas also says all electricity production must be carbon neutral by 2035. I hope you are ready for living without heat, lights, refrigeration and modern amenities. She says she would prohibit any new drilling either on federal lands or offshore, and promised to make “environmental justice” a major focus of her fight against climate change. The mentally ill Greta Thunberg probably applauds this rhetoric. The rest of us would be required to live with the results. It will be expensive and it will hurt.
Environmental Justice
According to the DOE Office of Legacy Management, bet you didn’t know we had one of those, did you?
“Environmental justice is the fair treatment and meaningful involvement of all people, regardless of race, color, national origin, or income, with respect to the development, implementation, and enforcement of environmental laws, regulations, and policies. Fair treatment means that no population bears a disproportionate share of negative environmental consequences resulting from industrial, municipal, and commercial operations or from the execution of federal, state, and local laws; regulations; and policies. Meaningful involvement requires effective access to decision makers for all, and the ability in all communities to make informed decisions and take positive actions to produce environmental justice for themselves.”
This guarantees regulatory gridlock on the entire economy. This is pure political male bovine excrement. It is socialist sputum for do nothing, build nothing, control everything and pay no attention to the needs or wants of the people living normal everyday lives. This is a manifesto for the reduction of our standard of living.
The Plan
This candidate is advocating putting a trillion dollars into cleaning up the places that collectively we have destroyed as a nation and bringing them back. What does that mean? Where is the money going to come from? We are already $23 trillion in debt. We cannot afford the debt we already have. And if that’s not enough America is already the world leader in environmental sensitivity. The rest of the world has a long way to go to catch up to where we are now. Wasting more of our income chasing windmills will not save the world. American efforts need to be joined by the balance of the world.
During a climate town hall this fall, Lying Lizzie, Lieawatha Fauxcahontas Warren said she would end license renewals of existing nuclear plants and stop the building of new ones. She is irrational and illogical. How are you going to heat your house, or cook you food or power your electric car without reliable generation capacity? At what point is common sense going to kick in for these Socialist tyrants? Yup, Lying Lizzie is going carbon neutral… but she should do so alone and with her own personal wealth.
