Finally, some sanity – HB 1251 (prohibiting biological boys from biological girls teams)

The Left is all about creating chaos in all areas of life so as to then grow Government’s reach, cost, and intrusiveness to “fix” the man-made” chaos to “fix it”. We’ve been writing a lot of about the insanity of the Left’s latest political ideology instantiation: Transgenderism. That’s the ability to say that actual biology is of no account at all even as we all know otherwise. They say that women can have penises and males can have vaginas and would have us disbelieve our “lyin’ eyes” (or put mathematically, believe that 2+2 =5). From the “Party of Science” (that would be the Democrat Party self-identification, dontcha know) we are actively seeing a complete repudiation of their self-identification (how apropos!) as being “with science”.

The worst manifestation of this is post-puberty biological males deciding that they are gender dysphoric/transgender females and decided to play on women’s teams – now known as TransJacking – to the dismay of those teams opponents.  Why? These:

• In May, the Australian women’s soccer team, the Matildas — ranked five in the world — played an under-15 boys team. The women lost — 7-0.
• The U.S. Women’s National Team (ranked number one in the world) lost 8-2 to the under-17 U.S. boys’ team in 2012.
• The world’s best women’s hockey team, the Canadian Women’s Olympic Team, played in the Alberta AAA Midget Hockey League (boys 15-17) during the 2013-2014 season. They finished dead last.
• The mile record for 15-year-old boys is faster than the women’s world record.
• Swedish Women’s National Soccer Team Loses To A Bunch Of No Name Boys Playing A Man Short
• U.S. women’s hockey team scrimmaging against high school boys with mixed results
• The US Men’s U-17 soccer team played the USWNT three months before they won the Gold at the Olympics. The U-17 Men’s team won 8-2.

Now imagine what those same boys teams would do to the age equivalent girls teams? Or boys that “cross over” (as the two CT male runners did in joining girls teams)?

Well, a number of Republican NH State Reps have come up with a bill to prevent harm to the girls who would have to play against them: HB1251 (emphasis mine):

STATE OF NEW HAMPSHIRE
In the Year of Our Lord Two Thousand Twenty

AN ACT relative to participation in school sports programs for female student-athletes.

Be it Enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court convened:

1  Discrimination Protection in Public Schools.  Amend RSA 193:38 to read as follows:

193:38  Discrimination in Public Schools.

I.  No person shall be excluded from participation in, denied the benefits of, or be subjected to discrimination in public schools because of their age, sex, gender identity, sexual orientation, race, color, marital status, familial status, disability, religion, or national origin, all as defined in RSA 354-A.  Any person claiming to be aggrieved by a discriminatory practice prohibited under this section, including the attorney general, may initiate a civil action against a school or school district in superior court for legal or equitable relief, or with the New Hampshire commission for human rights, as provided in RSA 354-A:27-28.

II.  Interscholastic or intramural athletic teams or sports that are sponsored by a primary or secondary school or institution of higher education and designated for “females,” “women,” or “girls” shall only be open to students of the female sex.  If disputed, a student may prove that she is of the female sex by presenting a signed physician’s statement which shall indicate the student’s sex is based solely upon:

(a)  The student’s internal and external reproductive anatomy;
(b)  The student’s naturally occurring level of testosterone; and
(c)  An analysis of the student’s chromosomes.

2  Effective Date.  This act shall take effect 60 days after its passage.

I’m glad to see this – somebody has to protect both female athletes AND Title IX that started the explosion of girls sports simply by declaring “if you have boys teams, spend the same on girls teams”. By disallowing boys to Transjack the girl’s teams, Title IX will be rent limb from limb (as well as some female athletes). It does away with the political ideology. It relies on biological fairness.  It doesn’t allow for the arbitrariness and capriciousness of the Democrats’ Agenda of introducing Chaos into yet another area of life with the implicit “I’m a guy today, and a gal tomorrow, and who knows what I’ll be after that”.

Society cannot last long with the instability that has been deliberately introduced into our Society by Progressives. How many of what used to be traditional norms have been done away with – and what has been the negative result thereof?  Remember, the Great Society of the 1960s, having now spent trillions of dollars, split apart millions of families – the results are an abject failure.

Progressivism means never having to say “sorry for the tragic results our policies have created” – they only care about their upfront “good intentions”.  In this issue, the results are already starting to be seen and yet they want to double down and keep this going.

Talk about a War on Women, eh?

It’s the athletic version of how Democrats are attempting to render the Electoral College useless as well. By tying the votes of the Electors to the Popular vote, what used to be a 50 State election for President reduced to a nationwide vote and another removal of a Federalism Check and Balance from our system of Government.
