First, the good news. There are so few things in need of attention by congress that this is a concern. No experts of color have been called to testify against this President in the Judiciary Committee. Not one.
Texas Democrat Al Green, who has wanted Trump impeached from day one, has words for the Lefty party leadership.
“I rise because I love my country, but I also rise today with heartfelt regrets. It hurts my heart, Mr. Speaker, to see the Judiciary Committee hearing experts on the topic of impeachment — one of the seminal issues of this Congress — hearing experts… and not one person of color among the experts,” Green told the House floor.
“I refuse to be ignored and taken for granted. I came here to represent the people who are ignored and taken for granted. Not one person of color among the constitutional scholars,” he said. “It seems that there’s a desire among some to have the output of people of color without input from the people of color.”
While we’re on the topic, if we include the intelligence Committee hearings, there has been a considerable shortage of at least one sort of witness — those supporting the President.
Seeing as this is a congressional “investigation” on the matter of drawing up and voting on articles of impeachment, does the House nor America not deserve to hear two sides?
The answer is no. Everyone is blue, which, as far as this House is concerned, is the only color that matters.
