Poll: Should a victim of gun violence (sic) be able to sue a NH gun manufacturer for damages?

I guess the Union Leader decided to get “in on the news” that the Supreme Court is allowing a lawsuit from Sandy Hook parents to try to hold Remington responsible for the Sandy Hook Elementary School.

This is in direct contradiction of PLACAA. The Protection of Lawful Commerce in Arms Act holds gun manufacturers harmless if someone commits a crime with a lawful product of their similar to that a car manufacturer would be held blameless if someone used their product in a crime.

But the Union Leader goes one step further – attacking NH gun manufacturers.  Remington is neither headquartered or makes arms in NH – Ruger anyone? Sig Sauer?  Is the UL trying to send a message to what is a vibrant gun industry in the State?

You know what to do – again, go here and vote.
