House Republican Leader Dick Hinch issued a statement after reviewing a Facebook post by Rep. Tamara Le (D-North Hampton), where she says, “F**k private and religious schools.” Rep. Tamara Le is a member of the House Education Committee. The post has since been deleted, but a screenshot is attached.
“It’s more than very concerning to me that a member of the House Education committee has used this type of vile language in a public format. It’s also concerning to me that so many of her Democrat House colleagues commented on and liked the post. Private and religious schools play an important role in many New Hampshire families’ lives. Given this exhibition of online rage, I do not believe that Rep. Le can provide any fair or objective review of policies pertaining to private and religious schools as a member of the Education committee. Rep. Le should immediately apologize to every private and religious school throughout the state, as well as all the students and parents. House Speaker Shurtleff must remove her from the House Education Committee, and he should, in the strongest terms, condemn this type of behavior from her.”
Without wanting to step on the Minority leader’s toes here, there is another issue. Representative Le is a member of House Democratic Leadership. According to the NH Gen Court website, she is the Assistant Majority Floor Leader. Is this level of potty-mouthed, intolerance and bigotry what you feel represents New Hampshire best? THas the current New Hampshire House Majority (Democrat) Party leadership institutionalized this attitude the session?
Rep. Le’s Personal Biography from the NH Gen Court website in her words:

Conclusion
The institutions responsible for educating Rep. Le, hiring and advancing her views and policy should consider carefully her position and their culpability for condoning, supporting and promoting it. Such public expressions of intolerance and hate are illiberal. They make a thinking person want to reassess what they have been voting to support. Foul mouth intolerance and hate are not New Hampshire values.
