Democrat Projection: NH House Rep Fined for Violating Measure he Voted Into Law

Democrats invented the #MeToo movement. Not because of Trump, or some fantasy about Judge Kavanagh. Democrats, by their ideological nature, seek power and abuse it. And to Democrat Men, women, like your tax dollars, are playthings.

Bill Clinton, Harvey Weinstein, Matt Lauer, Jeffrey Epstein.  There are hundreds, if not thousands, more — a problem not limited to women.

Democrats project their racism on Republicans. Their greed on corporations. Their obsession with supremacy on conservatives. And even their niggly daily habits.

As Chris notes here, New Hampshire’s hands-free law was virtue-signaling that has done little to accomplish its stated goal. Alter human behavior to prevent accidents and save lives. It has done neither as I have reported, now and again, and that the evidence suggests it has done the opposite.

There was no evidence it would do anything but inconvenience people. But Democrats are predisposed to regulate or consume economic resources. And their self-assumed cultural authority grants them the political will to project their meddling into everything else. Liberal Privilege.

Enter Peter Leishman

The law he voted for did not alter his behavior. He continues to abuse it to such a degree that he been observed by authorities on two occasions breaking that law. Statistically, he probably broke the law every chance he got.

But the law wasn’t for him. It was for people who are like him but not as gifted with the will and means of the legislator.

“Since the natural tendencies of mankind are so bad that it is not safe to allow them liberty, how comes it to pass that the tendencies of organizers are always good?  Do not the legislators and their agents form a part of the human race?  Do they consider that they are composed of different materials from the rest of mankind?

Bastiat foresaw Peter Leishman because, in his time, human nature was no different. And the answer to the question, he also knew too well, was yes, they do think they are different.

If I’m doing this thing responsibly, those other people who are not nearly as smart or adept as I, are a threat to public safety, including my own. Let us pass a law. And they did. The requirement tis a considerable inconvenience to the majority of residents who were more than capable of driving and talking at the same time.

But Democrats, like Peter Leishman, needed to find a way to express their flawed existence onto others and regulate it – because all things need to be regulated. Legislators know better.

But they don’t.
