Another medical expert has come out publicly to claim that hormone therapies to transition children are child abuse. Dr. Michael Laidlaw, an endocrinologist in Rocklin, California, says the development blockers given to children are “actually causing a disease.”

The disease in question is hypogonadotropic hypogonadism. It occurs when the brain fails to send the right signal to the gonads to make the hormones necessary for development.
“We’re talking about what in nature is a rare condition. In the United States, if someone has this condition it’s going to be recognized and treated so the long-term results are unknown,” the doctor explained. “It’s an area that needs to be explored further.”
The quantity of hormones and or blockers required to “transition” a child from one sex to the other, at least chemically, has significant complications and health risks. In essence, doctors, encouraged by the Social Justice #Wokeasarus (and idiot parents), are performing an elective procedure (sometimes on the taxpayer’s dime) that weakens that individual’s overall health and wellness.
When people are given far more of the opposite sex hormone than their bodies can handle, they are at “increased risk for cardiovascular disease, cardiovascular death, deep vein thrombosis. They’ve looked at adults taking these hormones and have seen already these cardiovascular risks.” When these drugs are administered to children, “one would presume it’s the same or even worse, in the long run.”
Those are physical complications. Psychologically, we continue to remind you that nearly 80% of trans have mental health issues. Even in welcoming communities 4 out of 10 of these kids will try to kill themselves after they’ve been “transitioned.” Many more will regret what was done, and a growing number have or considered transitioning back.
Not that they could find help with that here in New Hampshire. Our Woke Democrat legislature and Republican Governor made seeking help for such a change illegal. Like much of the Left’s agenda, it is a one-way street.
And once you get there, willingly or not, the odds are high, your life will be miserable.
And in the case of hormone therapy on children, it could be fatal.
