A well regulated militia, being necessary to the security of a free state, the right of the people to keep and bear arms, shall not be infringed.
Every single Democrat Presidential Wannabee is calling for massive disobedience against the “shall not be infringed” clause of the Second Amendment.
From shame redefinitions of what a faux “assault weapon” is, calling anything at all a “weapon of war” (which was what the Second Amendment PROTECTED), waiting periods, restrictions on what can be purchased, instituting time restrictions in between purchases, requiring licenses for a Constitutional Right, requiring background checks for ammo, Internet ammo purchases made illegal, background checks for private sales, instituting gun registrations, and mandatory gun confiscations.
It’s like they think we’re all criminals. And they do. And they think there’d be no reaction in return? Sure is – stocking up is happening big time. And so are arms sales:
If gun makers and the big bad gun lobby had gotten together and designed a strategy to goose gun sales (which were already good by historically standards) they couldn’t have done much better than what Democrats have done on their own.
Between Beto’s media-enabled confiscation jihad and other candidates’ using O’Rourke for cover to jump on the gun-grabbing bandwagon, there’s no longer any ambiguity at all about what the forces of civilian disarmament want and are trying to do.
And the NH Democrats are just as bad. The only thing they haven’t done is to pull an actual Beto and openly call for confiscation. However, it’s just a matter of time – if they ever hit the trifecta again (majority of the NH House, majority of the NH Senate, and the Governorship), they WILL go for confiscation and, failing that, they will go for every infringement they can get away with.
Just like Obama, when whiffs of gun control get louder, sales go up. Happens every time.
